Lex Run
A daily word roguelite that lives inside a Reddit post. Build words from your rack across 4 rounds of escalating difficulty, pick BOOSTs between rounds, and compete on a shared daily leaderboard.
Built for Reddit’s Games with a Hook hackathon on the Devvit platform. Inspired by Balatro’s roguelite formula: a run is 4 rounds of escalating difficulty, with BOOST cards to pick between rounds that reshape how you score. The daily challenge is seeded from the date, so every player gets the same run and competes on a shared leaderboard, with the server re-scoring every submission so results can be trusted.

I handled everything solo: game design, programming, UI sprites (made in Inkscape), and the trailer (made with Remotion).
